Exchange programme 1

Hi peeps!
It's the 8th day I'm in melbourne now and finally get to settle down today! The flight to Melbourne was suffering as there was turbulance and I felt nausea. But thank goodness we landed here safely. My uni friends actually went to the airport to send us. How nice. Also my family and the 3 pigs! owh, how lovely are they! The pigs gave me their photos. =D

Well, Hungry Jack seems to be the Caucasian's favourite compared to other fast food such as McD and Subway. FYI, Hungry Jack's is the OZ version of Burger King. Still, I think McD taste better.

Our first week of orientation was at Monash Clayton Campus. The campus is extremely huge you may actually get lost! I kinda like the campus. It has everything from saloon to pharmacy to cafeteria to bookshop. Anything you name it.

The orientation was fun. Monash Student Association organised evening activities. We went to the Eureka/ Skydeck 88 where you get a view of Melbourne from the 88th floor. The view was fascinating. Very beautiful!

And it was nice meeting new people, new friends! I was kinda shocked to know that SO MANY malaysians came here too! And in spite of coming from the same campus, no familiar faces I see. Look at the picture below, the OZ on the left is Stephanie who was an exchange student to sunway campus last sem whle the girl on my left is hayley from Hong Kong.

Steph brought us for dinner after that. She's really a nice person! I like her a lot. =)

On friday night, it was the first time we girls dolled up all looking good and pretty. We had a party at Red Scooter in St. Kilda.

Had a great night there! All the international students were partying around! People drinking, dancing, making out.. oops! i meant kissing. HAHA! Everyone mingled around.

After the party, we actually ran all the way to the train station because it was extremely cold!! Remember how we used to put ice cubes in our mouths and blow the mist out which got us so hype up when we made it? Well, you don't even have to put ice cubes into your mouth now. Just breath and you can see the mist everywhere. Oh, it isn't mist but I couldn't think of the word for it. And the other night, I exhaled and this guy actually told me " you're blowing air into my mouth". Like wth? HAHAHAHA! damn hilarious!

that's all for now. Till then. =)
